Welcome to Velvet Rose, an aerial studio that offers a variety of aerial dance and wellness classes. Our studio specializes in pole dancing, sensual pole, aerial chains, aerial hammock, and aerial lyra. In the morning, we transform into a wellness center offering classes such as yoga, stretch, tone, and flex. Our team is dedicated to providing a supportive and empowering environment for all our members. We are passionate about helping you reach your fitness goals and express yourself through the art of aerial dance.
Instructors
Jemma van Wyk
Jemma van Wyk AKA Velvet Rose is a highly experienced aerial dance instructor with a background in contemporary dance, burlesque and strength training. She is a qualified personal trainer, pilates instructor as well as exercise during pregnancy.
Genevieve Eyre
Genevieve Eyre AKA Scar-lit Hearts is a world renowned aerialist and burlesque dancer with multiple crowns and international titles under her very bedazzled belt. Genevieve has a multitude of additional experience within the wellness space.
Emily Thompson
Emily Thompson is a passionate aerial hammock and aerial lyra instructor. Her background in yoga and aerial arts allows her to create a nurturing and meditative space for her students to explore the aerial silks and lyra hoop with ease and creativity.
